Kendall Automotive Group is proud to announce that despite the economic slowdown of 2008, the company was able to continue to give to many local charities, notably, as the Presenting Sponsor of The Oregon Classic Golf Tournament, which raised funds for Volunteers in Medicine. As a family-owned and locally committed business, Kendall strives each year to donate to Eugene/Springfield area organizations that strengthen families and promote the well-being of children. These groups include local chapters of the National MS Society, March of Dimes and Relay for Life, Birth to Three, Relief Nursery, The Child Center, The Boys and Girls Club, Big Brother/Big Sister, 4-H groups, American Red Cross, Food for Lane County, Christmas for Kids, and more. Kendall also holds a yard sale each summer to raise funds for school supplies and backpacks for local students.
Kendall has also implemented an employee-run program called Kendall Ambassadors, which consists of groups of employees who are responsible for perpetuating the attributes and values that are an essential part of Kendall. They also help choose the organizations that receive volunteer hours and fundraising dollars. This allows Kendall to instill the spirit of giving into its employees by supporting organizations that directly effect employees and their families or organizations that its employees have a vested interest in throughout the community.
